Today is “Be Kind Day”

The Choirs are performing at Bethlehem Live (Alliance Church – 9^th & Thatcher Dr.) tonight between 7:30 – 8:30. Bethlehem Live is worth taking in and you get the bonus of hearing our Choirs.  Choirs are also at the Rotary Carol Festival Dec 10^th at the Zion
United Church.  This is another great event to attend!

The Music Seasonal Concert is Dec. 12^th at 7:30 pm in the Auditorium here at Peacock.  Come out in support of another Peacock team!

Raising Responsible Digital Citizens.  Help your child stay safe and build a positive online experience.  Presented by Alec Couros of the U of R and our very own Dean Shareski of PSSD.  Thursday, November 29^th 7pm – 8pm at Lindale School Library.  FREE admission.

• Football championship @ 1:00 @ Gutheridge field, this Saturday. The Alumni Association is sponsoring a play-off BBQ beginning at 11:00 in our parking lot. Drop by for a burger before you head to the game.

• Just a reminder – Flu Shots are on November 1, 2007 from 1:00pm – 8:00pm and November 7, 2007 from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm at the Moose Jaw Board Office on Thatcher Drive.
• Any Grade 9 and 10 girls planning on trying out for the Junior Girls Basketball team need to attend a meeting in RM 211 at 12:05 this Thursday. Be there if you are serious about trying out for the team!
• To all students who signed up for the high school curling, there will be a meeting on Thursday at 12:00 in Rm 105. It will be regarding start times, league play, equipment etc. See you there!

Criteria for both awards are strong academics, and good community and school involvement. Deadline for the Loran Awards is Friday, October 26th. Deadline for the TD Canada Trust Scholarships is October 31st. Please stop by Student Services for an application or more information.

• Retake Day is October 23^rd. Students absent on Photo Day are reminded that your Photo Day is Tuesday, Oct. 23. All students are required to have photo ID.  Please sign up in the Library.

Teacher student game of Big Ball Mat Ball in the gym at lunch.  We encourage all staff and students to participate in the game.  Great way of getting to know some of the students and other staff members.
